books for 2008-2009. Presented
by Karen Antikajian. CPDU's, Refreshments,
and Door Prizes. 110-page handout of activities, ideas, and strategies
for using the Pat Gallagher and related books will be available
for $5. Free with new membership or renewal.

de Belen Holiday Book Gifts: Book
Boxes and Casa de Belen Gift Books 5:00 - 8:00
at WaldenBooks in the Roseburg Valley Mall. Come and buy a book gift for the people living at the Casa de Belen, a homeless shelter in Roseburg for teens and families. We will gift wrap your donation after you pick a tag with an age and male or female and purchase a book. Then you can do your own shopping for 20% discount at Walden's that evening. Please participate if possible to give the gift of literacy to others. For more information, contact Gail: 440-4180, X205.
Tuesday, January 12, 2010: Literacy Leaders Honorary Dessert from 5:00-6:30 at Roseburg School District's Professional Development Center located behind the Administrative Office. Carol Brown will attend and present the Literacy Leader Award to our main honoree. Appetizers, desserts, and beverages will be served.

Hotel Lloyd Center.
Monday, April 5, 2010: Celebration at Si Casa Flores located at the Garden Valley Shopping Center. Appetizers will be provided. Time TBA.
Business Meetings for 2009-2010:
Meetings are held the first Monday of the month in the Eastwood School Library from 4:30 - 5:30. On Octobe 5r, December 7, February 1 and Apri 5l, a general membership meeting is held from 4:30-5:30 with a regular board meeting following until 6:15.
