ORA publishes three newsletters: The ORAcle, The PlethORA, and The Advocate. The ORAcle is our regular newsletter, published three times a year. It includes local council news and events, guest articles, regular columns on secondary literacy, English language learners, children's literature, parents and reading, and information about ORA sponsored projects such as The Patricia Gallagher Children's Choice Book Award, Literacy Grants, and Teachers As Readers (TAR) groups. It also has information about our upcoming annual conference, our professional lending book/video library, and a message from our president. We are posting selected articles from the ORAcle that have continued interest such as guest articles and regular columns. The annual conference, book award, literacy grants, library titles, TAR groups, and local councils have information on other pages of this website. We are also posting full issues of our children's literature newsletter, the PlethORA, and our Advocate newsletter which explores current topics in education. This may take some time. We are starting with the current issues and working backwards. Click on the links to the left to see what is available. |
